A national responsibility: Actions towards reconciliation and preventing violence against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women is Our Watch’s series of reports on the actions we are taking towards reconciliation and preventing violence against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women.
Preventing violence against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women must be a national priority. Every individual, organisation and community has a responsibility to be part of driving nation-wide change.
We welcome the responses of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, leaders and communities to this report and the work it outlines.
There will be a total of three annual reports. For each reporting year, A national responsibility describes our key partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and communities, how we amplify their work and our role to address the ongoing impact of colonisation within Our Watch.
A national responsibility: Report one covers the year 2021, it is the first of three annual A national responsibility reports.
A national responsibility: Report two covers the year 2022, it is the second of three annual A national responsibility reports.
